In 2017, Quaestec Gold Africa resources partnered with the government of Chad to develop the country’s developing mineral resources sector. The 60:40 joint venture with the Chadian government, Société Nationale de Développement de Minérale (Sonadem), aims to unlock Chad’s mineral resource potential such as gold, silver, tin and tungsten.

The mandate of the joint venture is to formalise the central African country’s geological information systems and resource data, as well as to develop their mineral resources and establish a national gold refinery in the capital city of N’Djamena.
